" -- six seconds to realization"

We stood
closing in the dry air
I picked up your ardor
across the still floor

Pupils set to fill
of residing curiosity
one second longer
three seconds felt shorter

of you

Right mind
could only coherent to one
I felt your connection
to another
pure vehemence
subtle endurance

Five seconds
Six seconds should halt,
if it hurts one's possession
the look of love only torments, now

Still I ground myself towards your direction
you are made of only love
raging emotions
reigning in motion

your eyes set to complete adoration

Take it in
Breathe it all
I ground myself still
'Cause silence is never quiet -

We stood
time filled the dry air
I brooded over your deep set ardor
Across the now colder floor

For you
It was not me
