“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.”
Isaiah 43:18
And I'm only going over home now
I am a poor, wayfaring stranger
Traveling through this world alone
And there's no sickness, toil or danger
In that bright land to which I go
Traveling through this world alone
And there's no sickness, toil or danger
In that bright land to which I go
And I know dark clouds will gather me
And I know my way is rough and steep
And the beautiful fields that lie just beyond me
And I know my needs are rough and steep
And I'm only going over home now
- Wayfaring stranger
Because on the hardest plane ride back I saw the full moon shining its brightest against the horizon above the clouds, and I knew I was in safe hands when the first sign was it saying: freedom is knowing you are safe anywhere in the world. Wherever I go, freedom is knowing.
